Woodlands Waterway Arts Festival
Artist Application Deadline Nears

The Woodlands, TX – The Woodlands Waterway Arts Festival is currently accepting artist booth applications for participation in the 2008 festival set for April 12 and 13. The application deadline is Dec. 6, 2007. The Woodlands Waterway Arts Festival is a juried fine art show featuring 200 national and regional artists of various mediums selling their original creations along The Woodlands Waterway®. Artist applications for The Woodlands Waterway Arts Festival are available online at www.zapplication.org.
Artist booth spaces are 10' x 10' on concrete or natural surfaces with fees ranging from $375 to $1,150. Single, corner, island and double booths are available. Electricity is provided for an additional fee in most areas of the site. Artists set up for the event on April 11 along a concrete, landscaped path that meanders along the waterway through The Woodlands Town Center from The Woodlands Waterway Marriott, alongside The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion, culminating at Town Green Park.
This beautifully landscaped site in the heart of The Woodlands features ample parking, water taxi and trolley service along the entire length of the festival, concessions within the festival site, and an array of eateries and shops within walking distance of the festival. Festival hours are 10 a.m. - 8 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. Sunday. Admission is $10 for adults. Children 12 and under are admitted free of charge.
The third annual Woodlands Waterway Arts Festival is presented by The Woodlands Waterway Arts Council, a nonprofit organization with its own Board of Directors, an Advisory Committee and more than 600 community volunteers. Proceeds from the event provide funding for educational outreach, art scholarships and art nurturing the arts.
