The Woodlands Waterway Arts Council

In spring of 2005, several community leaders in The Woodlands established The Woodlands Waterway Arts Council. Its purpose is to create an annual arts festival along The Woodlands Waterway®, provide scholarships and nurture the arts. The Woodlands Waterway Arts Council is made up of members from The Woodlands Development Company, The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion, The Woodlands Township and additional community leaders interested in the arts.

Our Charity Partners include a diverse group of local organizations. Charity Partners provide the volunteer support that makes the festival run smoothly, from greeting patrons to teaching children art projects. For 2012--2013 they are: The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion Partners, The Woodlands Art League, The Woodlands Children's Museum, the Conroe Art League and the Ann Marie Hopkins Art Alliance.
