The Woodlands Waterway Arts Festival (WWAF) weekend event is a celebration of visual, culinary and performing arts. The Festival gives patrons the rare and special opportunity to meet and talk with artists from around the country, sample great food, watch the Art of Food demos, drink craft beer, enjoy live music and entertain their families at our interactive ‘ARTOPOLY-Because Art Matters’ area, presented by Texas Children's Hospital.
A 3-day 2016 festival pass is $15.00, and children 12 and under are admitted free. New this year! The Terrace Hospitality Club, presented by Glade Gallery, $75- includes 3 day entrance, small bites, refreshments and more! Festival tickets available online on March 1st. Cash & credit at all gates and some food vendors. Beverage vendors cash only.

By Foot or Bike: If you are local - Go green - ride your bike to The Woodlands Waterway Arts Festival! Park at the -South Regional Library located at 2101 Lake Robbins Drive.
By Trolley(always free to ride!): Park at Waterway Square Garage, Corner of Lake Robbins and Fountains Drive (FREE parking on Sat & Sun) and catch the trolley to Town Green Park OR if you are coming from Market Street or the Mall, Valet Park and you can catch the trolley from there. By Waterway Cruiser: Board The Waterway Cruiser at the turnaround basin at the Mall or Waterway Square and sail on into the heart of the festival. Ride all day with a $5.00 day pass. Children five and under and adults ages 80 and older ride free! Waterway Cruiser Hours of Operation Friday, April 10 11a.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday, April 11 – 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., Sunday, April 12 – 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Download the cruiser and trolley route map.

Can I buy my ticket at the gate?
Yes! We have four (4) convenient gates: Gate #1: The front of Town Green Park, Gate #2: The turn-around off of Riva Row, Gate #3: The South Pavilion just behind the Town Center Garage and Gate #4: Behind the Marriott Hotel
Do you accept credit cards and cash at the festival?
We take VISA, MC, Discover and cash. Beverage vendors are cash only. ATMs available throughout festival grounds.
Where can I buy tickets in advance?
Online at the Festival website, at the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion Box Office (2- weeks prior to Festival), or at the gate beginning 30 minutes prior to open time each day.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
Yes, present your printed ticket to any of our four gates in exchange for a wristband.
Is my ticket good for all three (3) days?
Yes, you may re-enter with your intact wristband securely affixed to your wrist. No ripped, torn, or stretched wristbands permitted.
What is the refund policy?
This is a rain or shine event. No refunds. All sales are final. All acts advertised have confirmed their appearance; however acts and times are subject to change without notice.

- Artists :
- Please respect the artists and their original work; ask before filming or photographing them or their works.
- Bags and packages are subject to search before entry.
- Prohibited Items and Activities:
- No outside beverages may be brought into the Festival site.
- For safety reasons, glass bottles are prohibited within the Festival site.
- Alcoholic beverages are sold within the Festival site to patrons’ 21-years and older presenting valid identification. State laws and regulations require that alcoholic beverages purchased at the Festival remain on-site.
- Pets and other animals are not allowed at the Festival with the exception of service dogs.
Skateboards, bicycles, roller blades, hover boards, Segway’s, drones, and
- Firearms and weapons are not allowed on the Festival site.
- Smoking is not permitted inside any structure or in any seating area on the Festival grounds.
- Non-sanctioned activities, including public address or busking are not allowed on the Festival site.
- Unauthorized vendors are not permitted.
- The Festival reserves the right to decline admittance to, or remove, anyone who violates event specifics established for public safety, security, and enjoyment.
Are there ATMs available?
Yes, ATMs are located near all the gates; please reference the festival program for exact locations.
Where is the Information Booth on site?
Visit the front of Town Green Park for information. You may stop anyone who is wearing a volunteer t-shirt on-site and they will also be able to assist you! Programs are available at all gates.
Where is First Aid located on the site?
Dial 911 if there is an emergency. First aid is at the entrance to Artopoly-Because Art Matters at the South end of Town Green Park.
Where is the Lost & Found located on the site?
The Lost & Found is located at the Market near Palette Café Stage, adjacent to the beverage booth.
Are there restrooms onsite and where are they located?
Yes, there are seven (7) convenient locations for restrooms; please reference the festival program map for locations.
How many live music or performance Stages and where are they?
There are three (3) music stages, Palette Café Stage, Watercolor Terrace Stage, and Art & Culture in Montgomery County Stage. We have a Chef Demonstration stage called the Art of Food located at the North side of Town Green Park.
Are there places to eat on site and where are they located?
Food Vendors Include - Russo's Italian Kitchen & Pizzeria, Fieldings Wood Grill, Nick's Seafood & Oyster Dive, Cousins Maine Lobster Food Truck, Nothing Bundt Cakes, and more!
Plenty of Stella Artois and fine beers at 6 bars throughout the festival. Come and taste Barefoot Wines or sip wine by the glass in our Wine on the Water Tent near the Palette Cafe Stage. Don't miss the craft brews at the front of Town Green Park!!

The mission of The Woodlands Arts Council, Inc. a 501 (c)(3) non-profit corporation is to provide regional cultural enrichment opportunities that encourage, support and promote the performing and visual arts. Our strategic priorities are to present The Woodlands Waterway Arts Festival and other community art events, to offer scholarships to aspiring young artists, to support performing and visual art programs in public schools and to develop partnerships to create a strong arts presence in the area.
