Laurie Adams
Laurie Adams, an art teacher at McCullough Junior High, was named the Woodlands Waterway Art Teacher of the Year by the Woodlands Waterway Art Council. Ms. Adams teaches Art II and III at McCullough and is known throughout the state for instructing and inspiring students to create works of art that have won countless awards. Her classroom is an open studio that always has students working before and after school to go above and beyond the norm. Conroe ISD is proud to have her as one of our star teachers. On Friday, April 8th, Mrs. Adams will be presented with a commemorative award and a check for $2000.00 in a ceremony at the Woodlands Waterway Festival.
