Call for Performing Arts Applications

The WWAF is now accepting applications for performing artists until March 1, 2013.
The Festival
The 8th annual Woodlands Waterway Arts Festival is one of the top 10 fine arts festivals in the nation. We have 2 covered, open-air Performing Arts stages; Art & Culture in Montgomery County Stage is dedicated to local art and culture groups within Montgomery County. The Palette Café Stage, our main attraction, showcases local and regional professional performers.
Our Selection Process
Artists will be selected by a peer jury comprised of musicians, music critics, and other professionals in the Performing Arts. Jury selections will be based on materials submitted with the application.
Your Live Performance
Your past performances are a key aspect in our evaluation process. We provide you with the opportunity to present those to us either with audio or video clips. Please provide relevant Facebook, YouTube, MySpace, or website links to help us make the best assessment of your performance.
Contracts
Accepted Performing Artists are required to sign a contract with the Woodlands Waterway Arts Festival, specifying, among other things, payments, requirements and liability. Notification by email will be made by March 10th. Contracts will be mailed by March 15, and must be returned no later than March 30th.
Fees
The Festival does not pay transportation or lodging for performing artists. Information detailing all production, setup and payment will be sent to accepted artists with their contract.
